The Psychology Department of the American University in Cairo is granting two $1000 awards to Non-Governmental Organizations who submit proposals for projects that directly impact children with disabilities. This award is granted in memory of the dedication shown by Dr. Nicholas Ciaccio, throughout his career, towards children with disabilities.

To be considered for these awards, projects should be related to the following areas:

– Awareness campaigns

– Inclusive community activities 

– Training for those working directly with children or their parents, including support teachers

– Other programs that provide a direct and measurable impact on the lives and well-being of children with disabilities

Please answer all of the following questions as thoroughly as possible to be considered for this award.  

Applications will be accepted until Feb. 25, 2020.  Winners will be announced during the opening ceremony of the 2nd Annual Middle East North Africa Regional Conference in Community Psychology.
