This conference will take place at The American University in Cairo (AUC) – New Campus, which is located in 50th settlement, New Cairo. AUC New Cairo is considered a stunning modern oasis that weaves the Egyptian Urban together with the architectural traditions into a breathtaking modern campus with state-of-the-art resources. In 2008, AUC made history with the establishment of a new campus in New Cairo, laying the groundwork for a vibrant future of spirited intellectual dialogue, leading innovation and community building. Travel Information

There are two types of Visa for Non-Egyptian visitors to Egypt, depending on your nationality.

E-Visa:

This the kind of visa you get in advance prior to your travel to Egypt and it is valid only for 90 days. You fill in an online application.

After filling in the application, an email will be sent to you with the details of your visa in a form of PDF and it will be attached to your passport electronically. This Visa is allowed for citizens from 46 countries, if you want to check if you are eligible for E-visa or not, click here:

Visa On Arrival:

The second type of Visa to Egypt is the on arrival one, which needs no application or anything prior to your visit. It costs $25 dollars and MUST be paid in USD dollars not any other currency.

To obtain your visa at the airport, purchase the necessary stamp at any of the currency exchange windows before passing through customs. Take the visa stamp, with your passport and arrival card, to the immigration line.

Due to the regular change of visa regulations, please check with the Egyptian consulate or embassy in your country about new visa rules or check the website of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Visa regulations are subject to the Countries’ Embassies and consulates regulations and may change without prior notification.

AIRPORT TRAVEL

At Cairo International Airport, there are numerous desks for taxi and limousine service. To book in advance using Cairo Airport Travel, please call them at +20-219970 or send an email with all details to airport@cairoshuttlebus.com. For more information, kindly visit the airport shuttlebus’ website cairoshuttlebus.com.

Additionally, most hotels and all hotels listed below provide transportation to and from the airport through an agency situated in their hotels. To arrange for transportation with the hotel, kindly add your request when booking.
